David Villa-Clarke
David Villa-Clarke BEM, MBA, APFS is the Aleto Foundation CEO, his role revolves around talking leadership with organisations to help them bridge the diversity gap by finding the right talent to fit the organisation and making the organisation a place to welcome talent from diverse backgrounds.
The Foundation runs leadership programmes for high performing individuals who typically find it challenging to navigate their way into the world of work. The programme, teaches resilience, awareness, and communication skills as well as different leadership modules.
Having worked with multiple companies from SME’s to FTSE 100, David has an insight as to what works well in creating a diversity strategy and the pitfalls to avoid.
His passion lies in mentoring individuals, companies, or NGO’s to achieve their full potential, whether that be personal or financial. David sits on several advisory boards, where his no nonsense direct feedback, leads to impressive results.
David’s interests range from volunteering to entrepreneurship, he is also interested in not-for-profit educational causes and social mobility. As an accomplished Toastmaster and Public Speaker David enjoys sharing success and motivational stories.
He is the founder and president of Project Volunteer, a UK based charity which has been working with orphanages in Botswana for the past 14 years, encouraging volunteers from the UK to work on his giving back programme, which runs fun development holiday camps for the children.
David was recognised for his services to charity with the British Empire Medal in the Queen’s 2017 New Years Honours list. Sir Kenneth Olisa
“Do Well, Do Good”
Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE, the Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London to King Charles III
Ken is Founder and Chairman of boutique technology merchant bank, Restoration Partners. Ken’s technology career spans over 40 years commencing with IBM and then as a senior executive at Wang Laboratories working in the UK, Belgium and the USA.
He has considerable public company Board-level experience on both sides of the Atlantic. The first British-born black man to be appointed as a Director of a FTSE 100 company (Reuters) he has also served on the Boards of Open Text, Thomson Reuters, Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation and several AIM-listed businesses. Today he chairs a portfolio of high potential technology businesses including Inogesis (home to the Virtual Technology Cluster), Interswitch (Nigeria’s leading payments company) and Proxymity – (digital investor communications platform) Interswitch.
Ken is equally committed to public service and has been an NHS Trust Director, an inaugural member of regulators, Postal Service Commission and IPSA (Independent Parliamentary Standard Authority); and a Governor of the Peabody Trust. He is the founder of the Aleto Foundation; President of Thames Reach (for which he received an OBE in 2010); Chairman of Shaw Trust; and President of London Youth. In 2015 Her Majesty the Queen, appointed him as her Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London. He was knighted in 2018 for services to business and philanthropy and in 2021 he was appointed High Bailiff and Searcher of the Sanctuary at Westminster Abbey and a Trustee of the Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund. On January 1st 2022, Ken becomes Chair of BusinessLDN (formerly known as London First.)

A little about Viola
Over the past eight years, Viola has been an advocate of social justice and a recent senior leader in education.
Viola is passionate about inspiring others to discover their authentic purpose. She has been honoured to have had many profound and revolutionary leaders pour into her journey, and takes delight in doing the same for others.
Viola enjoys the power of community, utilising expertise, exploring narratives, and sharing victories. This senior leadership programme is a perfect opportunity for Viola to network with different future leaders and discover new opportunities in a different field.
Viola has recently started a side venture of content creation linked to lifestyle, faith and property. In her spare time, she enjoys the finer things of life, socialising with family and friends and exploring serene and vast places.
Viola was a delegate on the leadership programme when it was the Powerlist back in 2014. She has continued to be a part of Aleto in supporting with various voluntary roles within the foundation including part of the previous Alumni Advisory Board.
In 2023, Viola was part of the first cohort of the OVO Senior Black Leadership Academy where she was selected as one of 12 delegates for this programme made up of 5 masterclasses led by the senior leadership team at OVO. Currently Viola’s most recent role is partnership manager at Neologik.

Man Wong
Hey, I’m Man Wong, the Product Lead for CandidateX. With 20 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and recruitment, I specialise in crafting products that prioritise access and inclusion. I utilise data to develop DEI strategies and recruitment strategies. Before CandidateX, I worked as a Client Relationship Director at a global recruitment business, focusing on recruitment and talent acquisition for the world’s largest financial institutions.

Paul Morrison
Professor Paul Morrison is a multi-award-winning, globally recognised leader in technology. He currently serves as the UK & Ireland Education, Non-Profit, and Charities Lead for Zoom, driving strategic innovation and digital transformation across the public and third sectors.
Renowned for his work at the intersection of education, technology, and community development, Professor Paul is an Ambassador for The Open University and a Global Ambassador for Elevate Africa — a non-profit founded by His Royal Majesty, The 21st Olu of Warri Kingdom, Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR, and Her Royal Majesty, Queen Consort Olori Atuwatse III. In 2024, Professor Paul received the Global Ambassador Award from HM Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR in recognition of his exceptional contributions.
He also serves as a judge for several national awards, reflecting his commitment to equity, inclusion, and innovation. As Chair of the Professional Advisory Board and Professor at the University of the West of Scotland, he helps shape the next generation of leaders and educators.
Beyond his professional roles, Professor Paul is passionate about mentoring and leadership development. He actively supports emerging leaders through various programmes, including mentoring the special adviser to a former Prime Minister. He is also the founder of iDare2Inspire, a programme dedicated to raising aspirations and empowering young professionals.

A little about Earl
Earl is a solopreneur and founder of Creative Muscle, a business dedicated to empowering individuals to live on purpose.
As a Sales Professional in the Technology Sector and as a Management Consultant with over 25 years' experience of bringing digital and cultural transformation to multi-national companies. To achieve business objectives, he has worked with all levels of the C-suite and key stakeholders to understand the needs of clients, negotiate and deliver high-value solutions.
As a Certified Trainer of NLP, Earl combines his keen interest in ancient wisdom from indigenous cultures and new technologies (NLP) to facilitate transformational experiences. Co-facilitating his first wellbeing retreat in 2002, Earl has been coaching and mentoring people ever since, focusing on personal development and resilience.

A little about Gemma
Gemma is the Founder and Principal Marketing Consultant of Riada Consultancy. Riada Consultancy empowers and enables businesses to unlock their marketing potential by bringing together the people, processes, and technology, all of which drive marketing, generate sales, and promote growth.
She has 20 years marketing experience working and during that time has worked with some of the largest technology companies in the world including Accenture, Microsoft, Avanade, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ricoh Europe and K2 (Nintex). She has owned and implemented marketing strategy, campaigns, and delivered events across multiple regions including UK, Ireland, Europe and the Middle East. She has also worked on industry campaigns in Financial Services, Legal, Manufacturing, Education and Retail.
Gemma is passionate about marketing and helping organisations align on their marketing strategy, plans and objectives for the longer term. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) who recognise her skills and experience in the industry.

A little about Gary
Gary is the Co-Founder & CEO of Tangent - an AI-powered marketplace that makes professional connections and job referrals accessible to everyone and NOT just the privileged few with the best networks. Prior to Tangent, Gary started his career at LinkedIn on their Business Leadership Programme and led social mobility programmes at the British Council. For his efforts advocating for social mobility, Gary has been listed as a FT Future Leader, is a recipient of the McKinsey & Company Achievement Award and has been named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 for Social Impact.

Gary Elden OBE is an accomplished business leader, investor, and mentor who rose from humble beginnings in South London to become CEO of a global FTSE 250 recruitment business.
Growing up on a council estate in Camberwell, Gary left school at 16, determined to prove wrong those who underestimated him. His early career spanned insurance and estate agency, where he became the youngest manager at just 20. He later joined Computer Futures in recruitment, and in 1995 co-founded Huxley, a brand that became one of the most successful in SThree plc.
As CEO of SThree, Gary led a business that turned over £1.5 billion with operations across the UK, USA, Asia, and Europe. He pioneered international expansion and diversification into banking, engineering, and energy markets. In 2015, he was named Business Person of the Year at the Black British Business Awards and was awarded an OBE for his service to diversity in business.
Today, Gary is Chair and Non-Exec at several leading recruitment and technology firms and a trustee of the Aleto Foundation, supporting future leaders from underrepresented backgrounds.

Samson Adeola is a Retail Media Executive at Publicis Media Groupe, where he leads sponsored ad campaigns for L’Oréal across Amazon, Boots, Lookfantastic, and other major retailer sites. A City University of London graduate in Media Communications & Sociology—and former President of the African-Caribbean Society—he’s honed his analytical and networking skills through internships at the Civil Service, Ernst & Young, and Fremantle. As a part-time photographer and videographer, Samson has collaborated with brands like Sony and Under Armour. An energetic, skilled and dedicated professional.
