A little about Richard

Chief Human Resources Officer

I am the  Chief Human Resources Officer for DMG Media and Harmsworth Media who are amongst the UK’s leading media organisations. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a number of industries, leading people strategies through transformation, culture change, and periods of significant growth and reinvention.

I’m passionate about building inclusive, purpose-driven workplaces where people can do their best work and feel they belong. Whether it's reshaping organisational design, evolving leadership capability, or driving progress on equity and inclusion, I believe HR has a vital role in shaping the future of work — and in unlocking potential at every level.

Supporting the Aleto Foundation is something I’m incredibly proud of. The work they do to nurture young talent and level the playing field aligns closely with my own values. I'm a strong believer in the power of mentorship and in creating pathways for future leaders from all backgrounds to succeed.
